Our First Event
We did some tabling at Dexter on August 29th and
Mustang News
reported on it. We passed out 140 packets of soy sauce!
Participants had a lot of fun playing Pin the Sprout on the Soybean
and over 80 people guessed how much soy sauce was in the mason jar.
The lucky winner, Vanessa Rodriguez, won a 5-gallon bucket of soy sauce.
Ladle a Lad
On Wednesday 6/3, Soy Sauce Club hosted Ladle a Lad on Dexter Lawn betweeen 10:00 and 12:00.
People could pay $2 to ladle soy sauce onto Oren.
All proceeds went directly to the SLO Food Bank.
Soy Sauce Club collected $80 from participants, and even more Venmoed directly to the SLO Food Bank!
Participants had a ton of fun. Oren, not so much.
